It’s good to see The Gaff picking up more and more obscure metal offering over the last year. A modest crowd have descended to this little venue tonight to praise Cattle Decapitation.
The majority of fans in attendance come to see the psychotic offering of Cattle Decapitation. This band never seize to amaze on stage. They blast into opening track ‘The Gardeners of Eden’ to a frenzied crowd that eat up the energy fed by the band. Covering mostly their more fist-pumpingly friendly songs, it’s great to see a crowd enjoy old and new tracks alike. ‘Into the Public Bath’ is the highlight of the evening and the crowd usher in a pit that will make any bigger venue jealous. An energetic obscure gig on a Wednesday evening in the heart of North London? Two thumbs up.
