Formed in 2004, Norway's Blood Tsunami started off their career by supporting swedish death metal legends Entombed at their very first live show, and followed that up by supporting Florida's very own Deicide shortly after, the plucky buggers.

The follow-up to the 2007 debut Thrash Metal, 'Grand Feast For Vultures' is a very mixed album, containing some excellent euro-thrash moments which demand a head bang or at the very least a sympathetic toe-tap or two. Stylistically the album leans more to the black metal side of thrash, with plenty of those trebly riffs, screeching vocals and a dash of melody where appropriate. Very good stuff; although some of the songs drag on a bit, averaging out at the 7-8 minute mark, with two going over the top at over 12 minutes, when 5 would've been just fine. Other than those minor shortcomings, this is a very decent effort which would sit nicely beside the new Evile or Kreator album.
