Virginian metallers Adversary have been hailed as the next big thing in metal, the debut album "Singularity" is full of the same melodic vocals and heavy riffs formula that we're all used to by now.
Only it's a formula you don't want to listen to endlessly, unless you’re the type of person who will bang your head to anything that’s "totally brutal metal". Aside from the awful drum production, that sounds way too triggered to be a human playing, the overall sound of the album doesn’t suck - you can hear everything relatively clearly, but that's not always a good thing. It's hard to even listen to a couple tracks without reaching to the trustworthy skip button, or the sensible OFF button.
This can only sound good when absolutely hammered.
