Mix death metal and industrial music and you start to sound like Dååth, like Messuguh but heavy on the melody and less of the polyrhythmic insanity. But don't think this is going to be some yet another In Flames re-hash, this is a lot stranger than those bands.
The bands first release on century media (via a partnership with long running label roadrunner records) proves to be somewhat of a stylistic change for the band, stripping away most of the electronica and industrial elements that permeated the infamous roadrunner debut, heavier on the melody than ever before. Make no mistake, this is heavy, and still complex, but you get the feeling they've sacrificed too much in favour of occult mumbo and melodic jumbo. Whilst staying varied enough, the songs keep veering off into strange and misplaced electronica territory, but there are some honest quality moments when the band locks into a killer groove, but it’s over far too quickly and the frustration kicks in far too easily.

This could of been a great album, and for fans of the band or those looking for something different in the death metal genre willing to give this a try it’s not a bad album, just not as good as it could've or should’ve been.
